Hitachi Electrically-Driven Intelligent Brake

Electric cars and hybrid cars seek to use energy with minimum waste. These cars use "Regenerative Braking" which generates electricity. Hitachi has developed a new "Electrically Driven Intelligent Brake System" which maximizes the effectiveness of regenerative braking. [Produced in September, 2011]

    In December 2009, a ceremony was held in London to mark the opening of a new railway. Class 395 railcars built and supplied by Hitachi were the focus of this ceremony attended by British Government officials including the Prime Minister, the Transport Secretary and people connected with the project from the UK and Japan. The Class 395s were the first high speed railcars in the UK, the country where railways originally evolved.
